Here is Epidaurus, discovered in 1829,
the acoustics is incredible, in the centre of the arena, we let a
coin falling down, and I heard it jingled from the top !
Then some 30 Greek kids
from a class came in the centre of the arena, it was terrible, they were
talking, laughing, ....
all of the kids wanted to test the noise, and we confirm
the sound came very well to our poor ears !! congratulations the Greek
architects !
There is a second theatre which was discovered only in
1971 ! he was hidden under 6 meters of ground and a forêt of pines.
Its
conservation is impeccable and the sight of the sea and the mountains is really
beautiful.
